Party Monster c. 1349

This is a re-imagining of James St. James’ novel Party Monster, transposing the events to have taken place in plague-stricken Europe at the height of the Flagellants, who are now a subculture. The story ramps up in intensity as extremism, desperation, and decay grips the Flagellants, driving them further and further towards total self-sacrifice and away from ordinary medieval life....until the Catholic Church catches up to them. No likeness to any real person is intended.

Costumes created digitally in Clo3D, Blender, Substance.
