Because I, for one, would like to dig deep into the inner workings of the plot, the thoughts and feelings of each character, and the times and places and backgrounds that have shaped them all. I am deeply interested in digital media and the future of performance, and I have been since I was a teenage Vocaloid fan (now producer, although technically I use SynthV). Of course, I love the way costume can be used to express these things!
Jamie Yuan is a multidisciplinary designer and artist currently studying at the University of the Arts London. She explores different mediums in order to build worlds, such as design, costume, music, and writing. She loves the bold and the incisive, as well as the esoteric stories that slip through the deep, dark subconscious of narratology and mise en abyme.
